Being a true ally to the LGBTQ community means putting your money where your mouth is. You believe that people should be allowed to identify and love however is best for them? Take action.

Black trans women are being slaughtered like its open season. The courts are trying to decide if businesses should be able to deny trans people jobs or fire them solely based on the fact that they’re trans. A trans man just got beaten in a 7/11. I could go on and on about the injustice and inhumane treatment LGBTQ people face on a daily basis.

I am asking you to go one step further than this article, and if you really believe what you’re saying — I don’t think you’ll see a problem with what I’m saying.

I believe that if everyone who believes that we should be able to live our authentic lives in peace took a stand, we’d be stronger and get more done.
