The Sims franchise was my escape growing up. I always created male characters to play as. If I created a family, the dad was still the sim I played the most.
This is a great piece. I almost wrote an article about this same topic. I think I scrapped it, but it wouldn’t have been this awesome anyway. The way you presented the slow inclusion of LGBTQ+ characters in video games over the years was great.
Now I remember- I wrote about how we needed more LGBTQ+ representation in all entertainment media, so it was broader than this your article.
