One Bullet

A poem that’s all too real

Photo by Thomas Bjornstad on Unsplash

Finger on the trigger

Eyes shut tight

Only takes one bullet to end a life

Man in the mirror

Was never a killer

Fake Christians labeled him a grotesque sinner

Soon the light in his eyes grows dimmer

Overthinking too much

To consider

Better days

They feel to far away
