My Favorite Nintendo Switch Games
When I bought my Nintendo Switch in March of this year, I had no idea it would come in as clutch as it did a few months later.
I thought I was just buying another game console to try, and maybe something else to occupy my time at doctor’s appointments.
However, when I got smacked in the face with dialysis again, my Nintendo Switch put on a superhero cape and saved the day. When I had to do Peritoneal Dialysis during my freshman year of high school, I dug out my old foldable Gameboy and played Pokemon Emerald and Fire Red through the night.
On Hemodialysis now, I found myself playing Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu on my Switch along with loads of other games. I’m stuck to a blood-filtering machine three times a week for three and a half hours each time. This adds up to a solid ten and a half hours a week where I’m sitting in a semi-uncomfortable chair getting toxins out of my system.
