November used to be all about Thanksgiving.

That is until Black Friday showed up. Soon stores became overrun with aggressive shoppers looking for the best deals. Impulse purchases soar throughout Thanksgiving week.

All through Black Friday until after Cyber Monday, almost every store that exists host tremendous sales that only come around once a year. With Christmas just around the corner, this five-to-six-day stretch seems like the perfect time to snag some lovely gifts.

The store’s sales aren’t the only things that are extremely competitive during this time. People are known to push, shove, and bulldoze their way through others to grab items.

Fights have been known to break out. People have been trampled. The sea-resembling crowds are a dangerous place to be caught in. Many people opt-out of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping altogether.

However, with the explosion of online shopping, everyone can participate in these “holidays.” even from the comfort of their own home. This option is favored over the traditional way to shop because there’s no physical danger. Despite being in the comfort of one’s home, they can still be vulnerable to identity theft.

I didn’t leave my house on Black Friday.
