Marley K., I wrote an essay about the short fiction written by Eudora Welty (“Where Is the Voice Coming From”) that was inspired by Medgar Evers’ assassination in my English 102 class. Unfortunately that was the first time I’d ever heard about him. My professor still has my essay to use as an example for his new students.
