It’s puppies rushing up to you as if they haven’t seen you all day.
It’s them sending a paragraph you didn’t have to ask for.
It’s them sending a random meme you never knew you needed to see.
Sometimes it’s everything but ‘I love you.’
It’s “You need to take a break.”
It’s heart emojis.
It’s “This made me think of you…”
It’s a “Good luck on your first day at work.” when you didn’t really expect them to remember.
It’s “You’re a part of my family.” when you’re not blood related.
It’s her putting all your gifts out where everyone can see them.
It’s coming out and them saying they just want you to be happy.
It’s them listening and researching trans–related issues, treatments, and surgeries because they don’t want you to feel like they don’t care.
