A poem

Photo by KEEM IBARRA on Unsplash

Heartbreak hotel
Where the rooms
Look more like jail cells
And I can’t pay my bail
Looks like I played myself
She put my heart on the shelf
Just to collect
In screenshots I trust
When my memories aren’t enough

Heartbreak hotel
Staring at the ceiling
Wondering how I fell (alone)
Can’t even tell how I’m feeling
I just know I’m far
From healing
