Did you write this just to judge that man? Normal is simply what society has deemed acceptable. You made a whole post defending judging people? It’s terribly easy just to say “I wouldn’t wear a jean skirt myself” and go on about your business. Maybe that is normal to him.
You judged him and then tried to make up this backstory about why he might be wearing it, but it’s nobody’s business. Maybe he just likes it? Maybe it’s comfortable to him?
Okay, so you want to say everybody judges. Fine. You didn’t have to put this man as an example though. You implied (more like blatantly stated) that his attire isn’t normal in your eyes. By doing this, you’re targeting gender-nonconforming people and people with cultural traditions that include skirts.
You probably didn’t think much about it. Medium is a big platform filled with people from all walks of life. You never know, maybe this man you just posted a picture of is also on Medium. Making a statement like this — even if it wasn’t that deep to begin with- only makes gender-nonconforming and people with cultural differences that differ from yours feel just a bit more outcast than they might already feel.
